� JOB PURPOSE

The Business Critical Server (BCS) Sales Specialist is� responsible for driving sales of HP business critical server solutions in assigned territory.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role you will be responsible for:

·� Establishing a strategic working relationship with your assigned clients.

·� Understanding each client’s business needs.

·� Tailor strategy and server solutions to meet the needs of the customer.

·� Interface with internal/external industry experts to anticipate client needs.

·� Facilitate business critical server solutions development.

·� Consistent attainment of assigned quotas.

·� Work effectively with virtual sales team of internal and external resources.

·� Accurately forecast pipeline.

·� Solutions/consultative selling

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree in an IT related field of study or relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication-presentation skills
  • Four or more years of successful technology sales experience.
  • Proven over-quota achievement.
  • Strong business critical server solutions selling experience.
  • Experience calling on and building strategic relationships with client executives.
  • Experience working on a virtual sales team.
  • Strong consultative sales experience.� Proven ability to understand customer’s direction, immediate business opportunities and long-term partnering interests and utilizing to develop account plans.
  • Experience tracking and reporting account financials on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Experience accurately forecasting account revenue.
  • Experience building, monitoring and orchestrating sales pipeline to ensure movement of near and long term opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience leveraging executive level relationships and connections to identify and influence customer business IT investment strategy.
  • Experience working with and leveraging business partners/alliances.
  • Experience working with various levels of sales management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the rationale for any IT solution proposed.
  • Experience in competitive selling and understanding of HP value proposition.
  • Proven track record of accomplishment selling technology solutions
