Job Description:
* Ensure an end to end system integration of Recharge Cards & SIM cards by liaising with all stakeholders in the chain
* Define Technical Products Specifications for Recharge Cards, SIM Card Local Fulfillment & other Telecom Devices
* Ensure technical products (Handsets, Recharge cards, SIM cards, Data Devices etc.) meet the quality standards specified by MTN Nigeria.
* Conduct final quality control checks on procured technical products before they are released for sales
* Monitor problem escalations related to recharge cards, SIM cards and other terminal devices and facilitate resolutions within service level agreement.
* Monitor and ensure that technical products failure rates & obsolescence are within MTNN acceptable limits
* Provide product statistics & performance report as input for proper procurement decision and implement
* Develop standard evaluation & test procedures for Handsets, Recharge cards, SIM Cards, Data Devices & Special Terminal devices sold & supported by MTNN
* Support new SIM Profile testing on all new & existing generation of handsets & devices
* Regularly Conduct research on terminal devices that compliment services offered by MTN Nigeria
* Manage the handset & accessories test lab
* Make regular Supplier site visits to conduct quality assurance audit on recharge cards & SIM card packaging
* Make input to the process of quality management by SQA
* Engage suppliers to continuously improve on product quality and processes
* Disseminate technical product related information to the business via the various modes of communication available (portal, email, telephone)
Job Conditions: Normal MTNN working conditions May be required to work extra hours
Reporting To: Technical Products Manager
Required Skills:
# 4 years experience in a technical service environment, preferably in IT/Telecom industry
# Hands on experience in technical product evaluation & testing
# Problem Solving Skills
